HISTORY OF WEISER'S MARKETS

Weiser’s Market was established in 1998 when Tim Weiser, a 25 year veteran of the grocery business, purchased his first store in Akron, Lancaster County PA. The 7,000 square foot store sits in the center of town and features fresh baked good as well as a service deli and fresh cut meats. Mr. Weiser and his family worked in all aspects of the store, building the business and a relationship within the community.

After four years of growth and success in Akron, Mr. Weiser decided to purchase a second store. In 2002, Mr. Weiser took advantage of an opportunity to grow his business by purchasing a 21,000 square foot store on the northern side of Lititz, Lancaster County, PA. The Weiser family brought many ideas from the Akron store to Lititz, including opening a bakery in the store with fresh made donuts, cookies, and other baked goods.
